The Addo Elephant Park is the largest national park in South Africa's Eastern Cape with also the largest number of elephants in the country. The park was founded in 1931 and besides elephants it hosts lions, rhinos, buffalos and leopards – the legendary "Big 5" – as well as a lot of other African wildlife. Explore the nature reserve on established paths in your own car or take a guided tour or safari.
During a 2 hour Safari-Tour on a Land Rover, you can experience Buffaloes up close while feeding and observe Giraffes, Impalas, Springbucks and other antilopes in their natural habitat. Tea, coffee and a small snack is included in the Game Drives with a maximum of 9 participants.

About 20 minutes away from the main entrance of the Addo Elephant National Park, "Addo Adrenaline" offers the only double Zip Line in Africa, as well as a 18m high swing - for pure adrenaline! If you want to take it easy you can take a tour on a canoe in the Sundays River.
Through the small town of Colchester you can reach a beautiful coastal area with an extended pristine, white sandy beach and dunes. The adjacent nature reserve, where the Sundays River flows into the ocean, is perfect for swimming, fishing and beach walks. Activities like sandboarding, kayaking and canoeing, kite surfing or quad biking are popular.
The Boardwalk Casino & Entertainment World in Portz Elizabeth offer an interesting beach promenade with cafés, restaurants, street markets and lots of shopping oportunities. The biggest City in South Africas Eastern Cape is located at the coast and the perfect spot for activities like diving, snorkeling or surfing. During the winter months from July until November Port Elizabeth is a popular destination for boat tours with whale and dolphin watching.
